The Star Gate Crystal Skull; an Archeo's Adventure

Publisher Marketing: This is the next on the series of adventures of three young archeologists called the Archeo's. Sam, Yoder and Mike are the grandsons of Dr. James Michaels, an internationally renowned archeologist. He has taken them with him since they were toddlers on what he calls his expeditions in time. The Archeo's, having finished their junior year in high school, have been spending the summer with their grandparents in their home on the edge of the great northwest wilderness. At the outset of the summer they made one of the greatest archeological finds of all time. They called it the Valley of the Dwellers. Soon after that they accompanied their grandfather in the search for Chi Chaco, the ancient city of the Anasazi. That search was fraught with danger as they were pursued and nearly captured by the Askooks, a notorious ring of ancient artifact thieves. It was from that expedition they learned of the existence of several crystal skulls that had ominous reputations. Through Sam's research they discovered there was a crystal skull said to be more powerful than any yet found that Sam thought might possibly be hidden somewhere in the Valley of the Dwellers. What they discover will change their lives forever. Contributor Bio: Holmberg, Branton K I'm a grandfather, and great grandfather, and count those among the greatest achievements of my life. Of course no grandfather, grand or great, can accomplish such an honored status without the grandmother, both grand and great, and children who help create such blessings. I'm truly grateful. I spent many years as a university administrator and classroom professor, and also became an entrepreneur. I'm very long in the tooth and retired many years ago. I've always pushed myself to risk taking the next step in challenges I find daunting. Over the years I've found I've written thousands of pages related to my career choices and know the challenges of professional writing. Some months ago I started writing adventure stories to my young grandson. They were simply a means for me to share my love of adventure stories with him. I had not intended to put them before the public eye but my loved ones, including my grandson, encouraged me to do so. So here I am taking that risky next step in a challenge I again find very daunting. That challenge is whether you the reader will enjoy readin my stories as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I have thrown off the shackles of conventionality and resorted to using the lingo of a late nineteenth century cowpoke. Believe me when I tell you I'm murdering the English language. For you purists, forgive me. To the rest dive in and have fun. Branton Holmberg
