Publisher Marketing: Ever heard of the Fiery Dragon? It was a pirate ship commanded by Billy One-Hand who was one of Captain Kidd's captains. Legend says it 'n Captain Kidd's own ship the Adventure Galley was sunk near Ile Ste. Marie, a corral ringed island off the coast of Madagascar. The locals was callin the island Pirate Island cause legend further says more than twenty pirate captains buried their ill gotten gains on the island. The master-mind of where them treasures was hid was Le Buze, the Buzzard. Near as we could tell he had helped twenty-two of them pirate captains hide their loot. Now that's a whole bunch I'll tell ya. We found a descendent of Le Buze named Sebastian who helped us comb ever inch of that island. It's a good thing we had a certain power Merlin had granted us 'r we'd have had no luck a tall. Ya probably already know the power I'm talkin bout. We had 't call on Long John again. Yer gonna be surprised at all we went through with him includin the run in with a bunch of scurvy pirates. Long John, 'n everone with him, loved ever minute of it though. Shuck yerselves out of them warm clothes ya had on durin our last adventure. It's down right balmy in Madagascar. Ya might want 't get out yer snorkelin stuff cause them waters around Pirate Island is full of the most beautiful corral reefs ya ever seen. Thanks fer joinin up agin. As always these adventure just ain't the same without ya. Gramps Contributor Bio: Holmberg, Branton K I'm a grandfather, and great grandfather, and count those among the greatest achievements of my life. Of course no grandfather, grand or great, can accomplish such an honored status without the grandmother, both grand and great, and children who help create such blessings. I'm truly grateful. I spent many years as a university administrator and classroom professor, and also became an entrepreneur. I'm very long in the tooth and retired many years ago. I've always pushed myself to risk taking the next step in challenges I find daunting. Over the years I've found I've written thousands of pages related to my career choices and know the challenges of professional writing. Some months ago I started writing adventure stories to my young grandson. They were simply a means for me to share my love of adventure stories with him. I had not intended to put them before the public eye but my loved ones, including my grandson, encouraged me to do so. So here I am taking that risky next step in a challenge I again find very daunting. That challenge is whether you the reader will enjoy readin my stories as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I have thrown off the shackles of conventionality and resorted to using the lingo of a late nineteenth century cowpoke. Believe me when I tell you I'm murdering the English language. For you purists, forgive me. To the rest dive in and have fun. Branton Holmberg
